Does cropping lower the quality?
The part you keep has the same pixels as the original. A PNG is saved without any loss; a JPG or WebP is saved again at high quality, which is not visible to the eye.
Can I crop to an exact size?
The size of the frame is shown in pixels while you drag, so you can stop at the size you need. To change the pixel size afterwards, use Resize image.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Crop image runs inside your browser tab and your file never leaves your device. Close the tab and nothing remains.
