Turn sideways photos upright, or mirror them
Fix photos that come out sideways or upside down, and mirror a picture left to right or top to bottom. Choose the turn and the previews rotate to show the result. Every image you add is turned the same way and saved in its original format. It all happens in your browser, so the pictures stay on your device.
Good to know
Answers to common questions about Rotate image.
Does rotating reduce quality?
PNG pictures are rotated without any loss. JPG and WebP pictures are saved again at high quality, which is not visible to the eye.
My photo looks upright here but sideways elsewhere. Why?
Phones store a note that says which way up a photo should be shown, and some programs ignore it. Add the photo here, set Turn to None and save it: the pixels themselves are turned, so it looks right everywhere.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Rotate image runs inside your browser tab and your file never leaves your device. Close the tab and nothing remains.
