The service
Softool provides PDF tools that run in your browser, free of charge. You do not need an account. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.
Your files and your responsibility
Your files stay on your device and remain entirely yours. You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to change them. In particular, only remove passwords or restrictions from documents you own or are allowed to modify.
Always keep your original file. Check converted, compressed, redacted and repaired documents before you rely on them or send them on.
Acceptable use
Do not use Softool to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, or to interfere with the site or with other people's use of it.
No warranty
Softool is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the tools are free of errors, that results will be exactly what you expect, or that the site will always be available.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Softool and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the site or its output, including lost data or lost profits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
